Welcome!

Glad you made it and hope you can stay around for a while! So, a little about me. First off, my name is Janelle A. Land. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. I got my start in the industry working on small independent films in and around the city. I began my career in television working on Emmy nominated and award-winning daytime talk shows such as Tyra, Judge Judy, Dr. Phil, and Oprah’s All-Stars. I branched out from daytime to work on hard hitting docuseries such as Escaping Evil: My Life in a Cult and Killer Kids.

Eventually, I honed my story telling capabilities blending history, suspense, and showcasing real people as the supervising producer of Discovery+’s long running hit paranormal investigative show, The Dead Files.

When I am not out creating exciting television, I spend my free time listening to social commentary, reading interesting biographies and works of fiction, and gaming my little heart out. Oh! And I try to stay healthy by hiking around my neighborhood and local trails. So if you see me out and about feel free to say “Hi!”.

I believe that everyone should have a personal mantra. Mine is as follows: I am change, I am wisdom, I am perfect as I am. I am me and that is wonderful. You are you and that is wonderful too.
